British authorities are treating the deliberate burning of four ambulances belonging to a Jewish emergency medical charity as a hate crime, following an incident that has drawn condemnation from senior government officials and highlighted growing concerns about antisemitic violence in the United Kingdom.

The vehicles, owned by Hatzola Northwest, were set ablaze in the early hours of March 23 in what investigators believe was a targeted attack against the volunteer emergency medical service that provides healthcare assistance to Jewish communities across northwest London and surrounding areas.
