Massive crowds gathered across the United States on Saturday for the third installment of 'No Kings' protests against President Donald Trump, with organizers claiming participation exceeded 8 million people in more than 3,200 events spanning all 50 states.
The demonstrations, which have become the most visible opposition movement since Trump began his second term in January 2025, drew protesters voicing anger over what they characterized as authoritarian governance, hardline immigration policies, and military involvement in Iran. The movement launched last year on Trump's birthday and has steadily grown, with previous rallies in June and October attracting an estimated 5-7 million participants each.
The flagship event took place in St. Paul, Minnesota, where approximately 100,000 people gathered on the state Capitol lawn. The location held particular significance following the January shooting deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal agents in Minneapolis during an immigration enforcement operation. Bruce Springsteen headlined the Minnesota rally, performing his song 'Streets of Minneapolis,' which he wrote in response to the fatal shootings.
Your strength and your commitment told us that this was still America. And this reactionary nightmare, and these invasions of American cities, will not stand.

Major demonstrations unfolded in cities including New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and San Diego. In the nation's capital, thousands marched past the Lincoln Memorial onto the National Mall, carrying signs reading 'Put down the crown, clown' and 'Regime change begins at home.' Protesters rang bells, played drums, and chanted the movement's signature phrase 'No Kings.'
